Article 147 of the 2019 Labor Code regulates jobs and workplaces that prohibit the employment of workers from 15 years old to under 18 years old as follows:

It is prohibited to employ workers from 15 years old to under 18 years old to do the following jobs:

1.1. Carrying, carrying, and lifting heavy objects that are beyond the physical condition of minors;

1.2. Producing and trading in alcohol, wine, beer, cigarettes, substances that affect the mind or other addictive substances;

1.3. Producing, using or transporting chemicals, gases and explosives;

1.4. Maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery;

1.5. Demolition of construction works;

1.6. Cooking, blowing, casting, rolling, stamping, welding metal;

1.7. Scuba diving, offshore fishing and seafood fishing;

1.8. Other work harms the physical, mental, and personality development of minors.

2. It is forbidden to employ workers from full 15 years old to under 18 years old to work in the following places:

2.1. Under water, underground, in caves, in tunnels;

2.2. Construction site;

2.3. Livestock slaughterhouse;

2.4. Casinos, bars, discos, karaoke rooms, hotels, motels, sauna facilities, massage facilities; Lottery business points, electronic game services;

2.5. Other workplaces that harm the physical, intellectual and personality development of minors.
